Responsibilities
- Conduct daily dog walks for clients, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and attention (approx. 30-60 minutes per walk).
- Monitor the health and behavior of dogs during walks, noting any changes or issues and reporting them immediately to the owner or management.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments with care and confidence.
- Maintain a clean vehicle and personal hygiene standards during visits.
- Communicate effectively with pet parents via our mobile app, providing photo updates and detailed logs of the walk.
- Ensure all waste is picked up and disposed of properly to keep neighborhoods clean.
- Follow company branding guidelines and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or animal care is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
- Physical fitness required to walk dogs for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and body language.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with smartphones and GPS navigation for route planning.
