Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Houston neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime as requested
- Maintain detailed client notes and daily activity logs
- Ensure all pets remain secure and comfortable during outings
- Communicate professionally with pet owners about pet behavior and needs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Trustworthy background check required
- Knowledge of dog behavior and basic training principles
- Must reside in Houston area for efficient scheduling
