Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs in residential and park settings
- Provide fresh water and administer basic care during walks
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate walk logs and client communication
- Adhere to safety protocols for all weather conditions
- Build trust and rapport with pets and their owners
- Attend monthly training sessions and team meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification
- Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality
- Ability to walk dogs up to 70 lbs comfortably
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
