Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in various Buffalo neighborhoods and parks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners during walks
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, leash handling)
- Maintain detailed pet behavior and health observation logs
- Build positive relationships with dogs and their owners
- Adapt walking routes based on weather conditions and dog needs
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking/pet care experience
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to handle large/excited dogs
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of Buffalo's dog-friendly areas and leash laws
