Responsibilities
- Safely walk 2-4 dogs simultaneously using proper leash handling and control techniques
- Provide real-time GPS tracking and photo/video updates to pet owners during walks
- Administer basic care (water, waste cleanup, basic first aid) as needed
- Maintain detailed activity logs and client communication via our mobile app
- Adapt walking routes based on weather conditions and client preferences
- Attend quarterly training sessions on animal behavior and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to safety
- Must pass background check and drug screening
