Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise multiple dogs simultaneously (1-4 per group)
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, leash etiquette)
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, health observations, and service delivery
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
- Transport pets in company vehicles to off-leash parks when scheduled
- Participate in monthly training sessions on animal behavior best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Current pet first/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, breeds, and handling techniques
- Exceptional time management and reliability with punctuality
- Professional communication skills for client interactions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
