Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve premium coffee beverages using advanced espresso techniques and specialized brewing methods
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences through personalized recommendations and meticulous attention to detail
- Master inventory management of premium coffee beans, syrups, and equipment to maintain optimal freshness
- Develop and execute innovative seasonal beverage menus that showcase local ingredients
- Maintain pristine workspace hygiene and equipment functionality following HACCP standards
- Train junior staff on coffee preparation protocols and customer service excellence
- Collaborate with management on quality control initiatives and process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional barista experience with proven expertise in espresso extraction and latte art
- Specialized certification in coffee brewing (e.g., SCA Espresso or Brewing Foundation)
- Exceptional knowledge of coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing science
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to create premium customer experiences
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality standards
- Strong attention to detail in presentation and operational procedures
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
