Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, lattes, and teas, ensuring high-quality presentation.
- Operate and troubleshoot espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems efficiently during peak hours.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide friendly, personalized customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including the counter, seating area, and storage spaces.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Restock supplies such as milk, syrups, cups, and pastries to ensure smooth operations.
- Clean and sanitize brewing equipment and utensils in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- No prior barista experience required; we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Strong passion for coffee and a desire to learn the craft.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Basic math skills required for cash handling and order accuracy.
