Responsibilities
- Master complex espresso techniques and specialty brewing methods
- Create intricate latte art and seasonal beverage presentations
- Deliver personalized customer consultations on flavor profiles
- Manage inventory of premium single-origin beans and ingredients
- Maintain pristine equipment and workspace hygiene standards
- Train junior staff on advanced coffee preparation protocols
- Contribute to seasonal menu development and tastings
Qualifications
- 3+ years of specialty coffee experience with portfolio of latte art
- Served as lead barista in high-volume, premium establishments
- Expert knowledge of bean origins, roast profiles, and extraction
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food handling credentials
- Exceptional communication and upselling abilities
- Experience with high-end espresso machines (e.g., La Marzocco, Slayer)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
