Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Provide a warm, welcoming first impression and escort guests to their tables with genuine hospitality.
- Menu Mastery: Acquire in-depth knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to offer knowledgeable recommendations.
- Order Execution: Accurately take and transmit orders to the kitchen and bar, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated.
- Serve with Precision: Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met at all times.
- Table Maintenance: Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and promptly clear and reset tables between courses.
- Upselling: Engage with guests to suggest wine pairings or specialty drinks, contributing to our revenue goals.
- Issue Resolution: Professionally handle guest inquiries and complaints to ensure a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional dining experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods, including walking and bending.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and credit transactions.
- Knowledge of POS systems (e.g., Micros, Aloha) is a plus but not mandatory.
