Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus and provide detailed, appetizing descriptions of ingredients and preparation to enhance the dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all special dietary requirements are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Chef and clear tables efficiently, maintaining a pristine dining environment throughout service.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of daily specials, ingredients, and wine/beverage pairings to offer knowledgeable recommendations.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in a full-service restaurant is preferred, but we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele quickly.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding food presentation and order accuracy.
- Ability to stand and move around the dining area for extended periods; physical stamina required.
- Familiarity with standard POS systems (Toast, Micros, etc.) is a plus.
- Must possess a valid Food Handler's Card and be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
