Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of our seasonal specials and menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs, answering questions, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including setting tables and clearing dirty dishes.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Toast, Square) is a plus.
- A valid Food Handler's Permit is required.
