Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service, including order taking, food delivery, and beverage service
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions
- Maintain clean, well-stocked dining areas and assist with table bussing
- Build rapport with guests, anticipate needs, and resolve service concerns
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for seamless service flow
- Adhere to food safety standards and health department regulations
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and daily cleaning duties
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash and payments
- Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
