Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them at their designated tables with efficiency and hospitality.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them promptly to the kitchen.
- Upsell products and beverage pairings to enhance the guest dining experience and drive revenue.
- Monitor table cleanliness and replenish supplies (napkins, water, condiments) throughout the meal.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all checks are settled properly.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to resolve any service issues or dietary restrictions immediately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining a high energy level.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by business volume.
