Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, welcoming demeanor and manage the dining flow efficiently.
- Present menus, provide detailed knowledge of menu items, and answer any guest inquiries.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen promptly.
- Serve food and beverages with precision, ensuring proper plating and temperature.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any needs or concerns immediately.
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and service areas to maintain a pristine dining environment.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions securely.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server is preferred; training provided for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and alcohol service regulations.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Must possess a valid Food Handler’s permit or be willing to obtain one.
