Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant with a warm, professional demeanor.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Process payments accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server, waitstaff, or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
