Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere immediately upon arrival.
- Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding food and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system efficiently and error-free.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, adhering to plating and presentation standards.
- Handle guest requests, special dietary needs, and complaints with grace and professionalism.
- Clean and reset tables between service cycles to maintain a pristine dining environment.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Current Food Handler Card (Texas Food Establishment Rules) is required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication skills, a friendly personality, and a positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
