Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, welcoming demeanor, ensuring an immediate positive first impression.
- Present menus and answer detailed questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently.
- Service guests throughout the meal, ensuring all needs are met, including refills and special requests.
- Clean and maintain the dining area, ensuring a pristine and organized environment.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Upsell menu items and specialty drinks to enhance the guest's dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and carry trays of food safely.
