Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of ingredients and preparation methods.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen promptly.
- Deliver orders with precision and style, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently and process payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any service issues with grace and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fine dining or upscale casual setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail pairings is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Valid Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one.
