Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and seasonal specials, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Maintain a pristine work environment, ensuring the cleanliness of the counter, seating area, and brewing equipment at all times.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service by taking accurate orders and answering questions about our menu.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions and handle cash or card payments accurately.
- Restock supplies such as milk, syrups, pastries, and cups to ensure the station is fully equipped for peak hours.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, coffee machines, and utensils in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the shift team to manage high-volume periods and ensure a smooth customer flow.
Qualifications
- No prior barista experience required; we are looking for a teachable attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Strong passion for coffee and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours) and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Basic math skills required for cash handling and recipe measurements.
- Reliable availability to work weekends, mornings, and holidays.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
