Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus and answer questions regarding ingredients, preparation, and daily specials with expertise.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
- Cross-sell beverages and desserts to enhance the guest dining experience and increase revenue.
- Monitor table cleanliness and readiness throughout the service, resetting tables promptly.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with grace and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or hospitality is preferred but not required for high-potential candidates.
- Strong knowledge of food and wine pairings and the ability to make informed recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining high energy.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately.
