Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus, answer detailed questions about menu items and ingredients, and offer daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner and ensure all items meet our high-quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to resolve any issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables and clearing dishes promptly.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and adhere to all cash handling policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Proficiency with POS systems is a plus.
