Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a welcoming atmosphere throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Present menus and describe dishes and ingredients to guests to drive sales.
- Upsell specials, appetizers, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and meet revenue goals.
- Handle payments accurately, process returns, and maintain a clean workstation.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and service areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and tipping calculations.
