Responsibilities
- Provide warm and professional greetings to guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus, answer detailed questions about ingredients and preparation, and make informed recommendations.
- Efficiently take and input orders into the POS system with 100% accuracy.
- Clean and set tables to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service of orders.
- Handle all financial transactions, including cash and credit cards, with integrity and precision.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant setting is preferred but not required for enthusiastic learners.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and carry trays comfortably.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and tipping calculations.
