Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, friendly table service with menu knowledge and wine pairing expertise
- Process orders accurately through our POS system and coordinate with kitchen staff
- Manage table rotations and maintain clean, well-stocked stations
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve concerns with professionalism
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere during peak dining hours
- Adhere to all food safety standards and alcohol service regulations
- Assist with opening/closing duties including side work and sanitization
Qualifications
- 1+ years of restaurant or high-volume food service experience required
- Valid Louisiana alcohol service certification (TIPS/SERVE)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans cuisine and local attractions
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and passion for creating memorable guest experiences
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale proficiency
