Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive table service with menu knowledge and wine pairing expertise
- Process orders accurately through POS systems and coordinate with kitchen staff
- Manage station cleanliness and table turnover during peak hours
- Handle payment transactions and reconcile daily cash reports
- Upsell premium menu items and seasonal specials
- Resolve guest inquiries with professionalism and discretion
- Collaborate with hosts, bartenders, and bussers for seamless service flow
Qualifications
- 1+ years of fine dining or high-volume restaurant experience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Strong multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Valid CA Food Handler card (or obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in POS systems (Toast, Square, or similar)
