Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen.
- Provide detailed knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Process payments efficiently using POS systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized service station throughout the shift.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server (preferred but willing to train enthusiastic candidates).
- Strong knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification.
