Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed immediately upon arrival.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Provide detailed knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to make recommendations.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables between service.
- Collaborate with the culinary and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server, Bartender, or Host is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations (TIPS certification preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
