Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all customers entering the store, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Customer Assistance: Assist customers with product inquiries, locate specific items, and provide expert recommendations.
- Transaction Management: Process sales accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems, handling cash and digital payments with precision.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and restrooms clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
- Inventory Support: Monitor stock levels, organize merchandise displays, and assist with inventory counts and transfers.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns or complaints calmly and effectively, escalating complex issues to the Shift Lead when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Schedule: Must be available to work evenings (shift typically 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and weekends.
- Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with a diverse range of people.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Reliability: Punctual with a strong commitment to attendance and safety protocols.
