Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs (1-3 per group) in designated Irvine neighborhoods
- Monitor pets' behavior and health during walks, reporting any concerns
- Maintain strict adherence to client instructions regarding routes, duration, and care protocols
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app to pet owners
- Handle waste disposal responsibly and maintain clean walking equipment
- Transport pets to/from appointments using company-provided vehicles
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Availability 15-25 hours weekly (including weekends)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of breed-specific handling and canine body language
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and tech-savvy for app usage
