Responsibilities
- Efficiently process customer transactions using POS systems with 100% accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Operate cash registers, handle cash/credit payments, and maintain balanced drawers
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain organized checkout areas
- Assist with inventory counts and price verification tasks
- Resolve customer inquiries promptly and escalate complex issues to management
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and loss prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash/credit transactions
- Strong communication skills and approachable customer service attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to our East 7th Street location
