Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly, providing a superior level of service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering inquiries, and providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, processing sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including restocking shelves and folding merchandise.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate them to management when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or needs to the inventory control team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and stocking.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with using POS systems.
- A valid driver's license is a plus for store-related errands.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
