Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using provided POS equipment
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries promptly
- Operate scanners, cash registers, and payment systems (all equipment provided)
- Maintain organized checkout area and assist with inventory stocking
- Handle returns/exchanges per company policy while maintaining accuracy
- Uphold cleanliness standards for checkout counters and surrounding areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong numerical accuracy and cash handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
