Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities during overnight hours
- Respond to patient calls and emergency situations per protocol
- Collaborate with night shift nursing team on patient care plans
- Prepare and maintain patient care areas
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Conduct safety rounds and facility checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA or EMT certification preferred (will consider candidates pursuing certification)
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience or relevant training
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to remain calm during emergency situations
- Valid Louisiana driver's license (if transporting patients)
