- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and electronic health records during overnight hours
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and nursing staff for urgent patient needs
- Handle medical supply inventory and equipment maintenance checks
- Process insurance verifications and billing documentation
- Maintain HIPAA compliance protocols for all patient interactions
- Provide compassionate patient support during overnight care transitions
- Collaborate with day shift teams for comprehensive care continuity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare administration or patient care experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal overnight supervision
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
