Responsibilities
- Delight high-acuity patients with personalized bedside care during overnight hours
- Meticulously monitor vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with RNs to implement individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Assist with mobility, ADLs, and specialized procedures per protocol
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification or equivalent medical credential
- 6+ months acute care experience preferred
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift 50+ lbs
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic ECG monitoring knowledge required
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
