Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during evening shifts, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Assist physicians with examinations and procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and attention to detail
- Coordinate patient education on treatment plans and preventive care measures
- Ensure exam rooms and medical equipment are sanitized and fully stocked
- Respond efficiently to patient inquiries and emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Medical Assistant certification or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or similar preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to remain alert and make critical decisions during night shifts
- Flexible schedule availability (4+ shifts per week, 10 PM - 6 AM)
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
