What You Will Do:
- Assist patrons with finding materials and using library resources.
- Shelve and organize books, periodicals, and multimedia materials.
- Manage the circulation desk, including check-in, check-out, and renewals.

Responsibilities
- Material Management: Sort, shelve, and repair library materials to ensure easy access for patrons.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, accurate assistance to library visitors and answer general inquiries.
- Circulation Operations: Process library cards, handle fines, and manage the circulation system efficiently.
- Inventory Control: Assist with inventory counts and the processing of new acquisitions.
- Program Support: Help set up and organize library events and educational workshops.
- Technology Help: Guide patrons in using public computers, Wi-Fi, and research databases.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a library, archive, or customer service setting is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Physical: Ability to lift and move boxes of books weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Tech: Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new library software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
