Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight framework, identifying disruptive trends with 18-24 month lead times
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions in quantum AI and neural interfaces
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Curate partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications for industry publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with accountability for ROI on experimental technologies
- Mentor a team of 12 futurist researchers and technology ethicists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years of technology strategy experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Exceptional analytical modeling skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., PESTLE analysis)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Executive presence with experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards and international bodies
- Published author or keynote speaker at Davos, TED, or equivalent forums
- Strong network of contacts in Silicon Valley, DARPA, and EU innovation ecosystems
