Responsibilities
- Execute complex espresso beverages and specialty coffee creations with artistic precision
- Train and develop barista team members on advanced brewing techniques and customer engagement
- Manage inventory of premium coffee beans, syrups, and equipment with meticulous attention to detail
- Develop seasonal menus featuring locally-sourced ingredients and innovative flavor profiles
- Ensure adherence to health/safety standards while maintaining a pristine, inviting café environment
- Drive customer loyalty through personalized service and coffee education
- Collaborate with roasters to curate exclusive bean selections for Wichita clientele
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional barista experience with advanced espresso certification
- Proven expertise in latte art, pour-over methods, and alternative brewing techniques
- Exceptional leadership abilities with team management experience
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles
- Strong inventory management and cost-control skills
