Responsibilities
- Execute daily dog walks for clients, ensuring appropriate exercise levels for each pet's breed and energy.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals during scheduled visits, maintaining a vigilant watch for potential hazards.
- Collect and dispose of waste promptly and thoroughly in designated areas.
- Administer medication and supplements exactly as prescribed by pet owners, with accurate documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and supply kit for each walk.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding pet behavior, health observations, and arrival/departure times.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in dog walking, pet sitting, or animal care.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement available).
- Strong understanding of canine body language and safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Enthusiastic demeanor and a genuine love for dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
