What You'll Do:
We provide the dogs; you provide the love and exercise! Your primary focus will be ensuring the safety, health, and happiness of every dog in our care.
Responsibilities
- Exercise & Walk: Safely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes for 30–60 minutes per session, ensuring they get the physical activity they need.
- Basic Care: Feed pets according to their schedules and administer medications if required (training provided).
- Hygiene: Always carry waste bags and clean up after pets immediately to maintain clean environments.
- Safety Monitoring: Keep a close eye on pets during walks to ensure they do not approach traffic or other hazards.
- Communication: Provide detailed updates to pet owners via our app regarding behavior, health, and mood.
- Home Security: Ensure doors and windows are secured before and after visits.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in pet sitting or dog walking is preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to commit to scheduled shifts consistently.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day and handle dogs of various weights.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Licensure: Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
- Enthusiasm: A genuine love for animals and a patient, gentle demeanor.
