Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso drinks, cold brews, and teas, following strict recipes and presentation standards.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a welcoming and memorable in-store experience.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the espresso bar, dining area, and restrooms, adhering to all health and sanitation regulations.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, process transactions efficiently, and manage cash drawers with precision.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management promptly.
- Clean and sanitize brewing equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with the team to create a positive and energetic atmosphere during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage service industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machine operation, and basic latte art techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- A valid Food Handler’s permit or equivalent certification.
