Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends affecting 2026 landscape
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario models for enterprise planning
- Produce trend intelligence reports and executive briefings with actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with C-suite to align organizational strategy with emerging future states
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Build and mentor a cross-functional foresight task force
- Quantify future market opportunities and competitive disruption vectors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Published thought leader in futurism or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and predictive analytics platforms
