Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities by 2026
- Develop future-proofing strategies for Fortune 500 clients across healthcare, energy, and finance sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership teams on emerging risks and disruptive innovations
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces published in top-tier industry publications
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into 5-year R&D roadmaps
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-cultural shifts to anticipate market evolution
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience as a futurist, innovation strategist, or tech foresight consultant
- Proven track record of predicting and documenting technology adoption curves (showcase portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AGI, climate tech, or neurotech
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex scenarios into executive insights
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Published author or frequent speaker at events like SXSW, Web Summit, or WEF
