- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-state vision and priorities
- Produce trend reports and predictive models using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing products and services
- Advise board on long-term capital allocation based on future market projections
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing actionable future-state roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systemic analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep understanding of emerging tech trajectories (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into stakeholder narratives
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
