Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal shifts through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and neurotech integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities
- Produce trend reports and white papers published in industry journals
- Advise C-suite on long-term innovation investments and risk mitigation
- Build and manage a global network of futurists and academic partners
- Translate complex foresight into actionable product development frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight (e.g., IEEE, MIT Press)
- Expertise in scenario planning and Delphi methodology
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on disruption strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year trend predictions
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
