Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive innovations (quantum computing, neurotech, climate solutions)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into strategic roadmaps
- Author quarterly 'Future State' reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for anticipated 2026 market needs
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies and societal impacts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (include portfolio of accurate forecasts)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Research (e.g., AC/FCF)
