Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech/socioeconomic trends to forecast opportunities and threats for 2026 landscape
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for quantum adoption, climate resilience, and AI governance
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and policy teams
- Produce quarterly trend reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify emerging startups for strategic partnerships
- Represent FutureWorks at global futurist forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or Technology Policy (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on exponential technologies or climate adaptation
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategy implementation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
