Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology adoption roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives to prepare for disruptive market shifts
- Identify exponential investment opportunities in emerging biotech and neurotech domains
- Design human-centered innovation frameworks for ethical AI deployment
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on forward-thinking research initiatives
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports predicting industry disruptions
- Mentor internal innovation teams in exponential thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts (3+ accurate 5-year predictions)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in exponential technology trends (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams in ambiguous environments
- Certification in Futures Methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Studies)
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible innovation outcomes from strategic foresight
